Thanks for joining us here at My Writing Network, which is actually YOUR writing network. This network was built with you in mind, after all. It’s a place for writers of all types, levels, and calibres to connect, learn, share their work, and grow. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to be online. Use it to promote your work, publish drafts, share chapters or stories, or just post random thoughts. It’s totally up to you.
Mostly this blog post is just to say that if you don’t see something you wish was here, or if you do see something you wish wasn’t here, say something about it. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, right? Drop a line to admin@mywriting.network with your thoughts, and if I’m not running around with my hair on fire, I’ll attend to it. I want you to stay, and I want you to invite your friends, and I want them to invite their friends, too, and as long as everyone is nice to each other and remembers to use serial commas, we’ll all get along juuuuust fine.
What you’re seeing now is fairly bare bones. There is MUCH more coming down the pike, but I’ve just moved in and have barely begun unpacking. For now, I hope you’ll agree this is enough to get started. And I think this is the start of something wonderful.
We don’t have a Terms of Service agreement yet. For now, anything goes. Be excellent to each other, don’t use your site to promote hatred or commit evil acts, and remember the words of the Dalai Lama, who said, “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”
