Why Every Writer Needs A Blog

When I first started writing, there was no internet, and the word “blog” hadn’t been invented yet. Writers of a certain age might feel that a blog is at best a personal choice, for obviously the preceding generations of writers got along fine without them. But many other writers, especially younger ones, understand that the most effective way to build a readership these days is via an online presence: a website/blog and social media.
