New .blog TLDs have arrived

If you’ve always wanted a special domain name but missed out because someone else snapped it up years ago, you have another chance! A new top-level domain, or TLD, called .blog is available, and it opens up some new possibilities for domain name and brand recognition.

If you’ve never bought a TLD before, it’s easy. The most important thing for you to know is that you can’t buy them outright. You have to pay an annual fee to use it. However, no one can take it away from you as long as it’s registered to you.

I use Dotster and GoDaddy for my domain registrations. There are plenty more out there! And, just like any other domain, your .blog address can be mapped to your My Writing Network site. Just ask how!
